This is a thread to show off your Jack o' Lanterns, and also to make your Jack o' Lantern templates available to everyone who might want to carve a pumpkin but maybe doesn't quite know what to carve just yet. Today, I created this template for The Rock, with the trademark raised eyebrow. I haven't made the pumpkin yet, but hopefully once I do I will get a chance to share that here as well.


The part spanning the bridge of the nose is a challenge. If you embark on this pumpkin, you're gonna want to make that part wedge-shaped so it's thin at the surface like the image shows, but thicker further into the pumpkin. I think. We'll find out.

I feel no pain, he can't hurt me with his silly nonsense words. I know awesome when I see it, and this pumpkin will be super-awesome. Sokarul's pumpkin will probably a relief carving of his favorite salt crystal.

I think a pumpkin carved like The Rock would be hella cool.

You could also do a cone head pumpkin. You just need to cut the ends of a few pumpkins and glue together for the elongated shape. 8)

Problem is here in the big city, things don't last very long hanging out on the stoop. But maybe the smashing of my Jack O'Lantern by some stranger is a part of the art itself.
