A majestic gas giant or just NASA projecting it onto the dome, it's amazingly beautiful either way.

With all the moons orbiting it, I assume Jupiter has a solid core with plenty gas on top.

What do moons orbiting Jupiter have to do with it's composition?

But you are correct, the accepted theory is Jupiter has a solid metallic hydrogen core and we know for a fact the rest of it is gas. That part we have even flown probes into.

Nobody has been to or sent a probe to the center but the pressure and temperature are high enough to compress hydrogen into a solid metal.

Ganymede is the biggest moon orbiting Jupiter and I find it more interesting than Jupiter itself. It is bigger than planet Mercury! I assume it is the white dot left on the photo above.

Ganymede is composed of approximately equal amounts of silicate rock and water. It is a fully differentiated body with an iron-rich, liquid core, and an internal ocean that may contain more water than all of Earth's oceans combined, it is said. Its surface is composed of two main types of terrain. Dark regions, saturated with impact craters and dated to four billion years ago, cover about a third of the moon. Lighter regions, crosscut by extensive grooves and ridges and only slightly less ancient, cover the remainder. And it orbits Jupiter since 4 billion years. Fascinating stuff.

No.  That's Europa on the left, which is quite facitnating in its own right.  It's thought that life could exist in the liquid ocean below its frozen surface.

It is just the way it is, you understanding it doesn't concern me.

You are right. But life there off Jupiter? Why would any sensible person decide to live there? You? Me – I prefer a sunny place like southern France with good food, cute girls, fantastic arts and music, etc. Where do you live? Florida? Playing golf with Potus Trump. But he is an awful golfer. Cannot hit anything. Of course according US Media Trump hits ‘holes-in-one’ all the time. Why not?

Topic is a photo of planet Jupiter or the top of the deep Jupiter atmosphere of pure hydrogen of many different colors. Jupiter consists only of a hydrogen atmosphere which is solid metal at the bottom and very low density at the top. It is heated by itself so the top looks like a live painting of some sort. Jupiter looks flat on the photo. Is Jupiter flat?

You can always buy your own telescope and look for yourself.  Won't see that good of an image, but will be able to make out enough details to verify it's the same object.

Or go to a local observatory that has a good telescope.

Or look for 'street astronomy' clubs in your area.  I used to work with one and we would bring out the big telescopes, set up outside somewhere and anyone walking by could take a look.

I did that for the Venus transit, had a telescope on the sidewalk outside my house and people passing by could look and see it.

It would be pretty silly for NASA to fake the look of something in the sky anyone can look at themselves.

Plenty of videos and pictures of Jupiter from people using their own telescopes.

Anyways, you are right. That photo has  all things it needs. There is no evidence it was faked.

I want to revisit some old threads with sandokhan. I have my notes filled with links to his arguments in chaotic order. I tried to track threads and i got 11 of them:

There is odd thing about my life tho. I am following some odd patern of bieng obsessed with him and then basicly forgetting he exsists. First in December/January when i found about him. I didn't have account back then so it was limited to reading and making reddit posts. Then i left after learining about his "300 years" arguments

Second was May/April. I made accound and it was time of most good threads. "Tunguska explosion" "Is there missing saganac effect"... threads are form that time.

Then one in spetember and until few weeks ago. I talket to JackBlack a lot with PMs, mostly talking about old threads. Thank you man!

And now :-\

Odd thing is that i am space fanboy. I play RimWorld and Stellaris and watch Star Wars... Something attracts me to his theories. Is it fear of my love, space, bieng wrong?
