Sovereign citizens and the magna carta

Let's talk about an elephant in the room. Let's talk about "sovereign citizens".  Or you may know them as, "freemen on the land".

Before we get into it, chances are this will truly be a "strawman" argument, and yes, the term, "sovereign citizen" is an oxymoron. 

1. Does anybody think the term, "domestic terrorist" is appropriate when applied to this group?

2. Does anybody think there is any truth in sovereign citizen ideologies?

As I understand it, a claim of sovereign citizenship has never stood up in any court.  And apparently the FBI considers them to be domestic terrorists.

Terry Nichols, McVeigh’s coconspirator in the Oklahoma City bomb plot, was an adherent of the sovereign citizenmovement: he maxed out his credit cards, sought to argue in court that the banks were guilty of “fraud and misrepresentation,” and, after losinghis case, sabotaged any chance of leading a mainstream life.He later concluded he had been misled and regretted his involvement.

He was definitely a domestic terrorist. I don't know who Smoke Machine is referring to, though. There are lots of people who claim to be "sovereign citizens" who do not do any terrorizing. They think they can get out of traffic tickets if they claim to be sovereign citizens, and that they don't have to pay taxes, etc.

I am a sovereign dragon citizen otherkin in a former life and demand my rights! I can not be arrested because my sovereign name is JJJJJJJAAAAAAAH THE DESTROYER OF FINITE WORLDS OF STATUS FORM THREEVE which I have not given permission for invalid courts of humans to use.  I am immune to all illegitimate legal persecution. The judge told him to figure out who he is while he served a week for contempt.
