This classified document thing, even if he's doing the right things about its discovery is a monumental fuck up that has taken all the steam and high ground the dems had on Trump. I'd be pretty pissed an old man who already has one foot in the grave and is as dull as ditchwater is thinking he'll even live long enough to contest the next election

Don't get me wrong, I think he's a nice enough bloke perhaps on a personal level but his time is in politics is done. It's time America stopped voting for tired or angry old men.

I don't think he needs professional help. Religious stuff is a reality, not a problem. He can't go, even if he wanted to. I thought McCarthy was a lot friendlier to Biden than expected. He stood up and clapped along with everyone most of the time. He was also very happy to shake Biden's hand at the beginning, and was very cheerful when Biden talked about bipartisan issues.  It's easy to capture an image when someone isn't smiling and make it seem like he was like that the whole time. I didn't watch the entire speech, but I watched quite a bit of it. There were only a few times when the GOP side started grumbling, and McCarthy made the unhappy face.

I watched the entire thing. It looks like McCarthy couldn't quite decide what to do with his face but he didn't make a clownshow out of it. The rest of his party didn't get the memo. Space laser lady acted in a way which makes me believe that she's never left an Applebee's willingly.

The highlight was when Biden just started brawling with the GOP over social security.

It seems Kevin isn't a deranged Repugnican but he had to make so many concessions and has to work with so many deranged repugs in the House that bipartisanship isn't going to be possible

It's annoying in politics where the opposition will make sure the country is in the worst shape it can be before an election just for the optics so people might vote for tjem

They are freaking out about the end of title 42 this week. idk if that is good or bad, but they're getting riled up about an old image. I don't even think this is a picture of the US/Mexico border, it could be Mexico's southern border.

No one should be surprised that conservatives are freaking out about a false invasion on the southern border, they have been beating that drum since 2008 (with a small break from 2016 to 2020).

Title 42 was about halting the spread of covid.  Even under the pandemic the use of it was very dubious.  Now that crisis is gone is seems ridiculous to keep title 42 in place. 

While I believe any country has a right to control it's borders I'm just not concerned about immigration. We've had mass migration for the last 400 years but suddenly now it's an existential threat?

In Turkey, the entire deep state worked for Erdogan to win. The Turkish deep state has always been guided by the United States. So Biden supported Erdogan.

Biden is working for a fascist, oppressive and Islamic regime in Turkey. In addition, Erdogan quickly moved Turkey away from the western line and closer to Russia. The opposition candidate, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, signaled that he would get closer to the West before the election, and even accused Russia of interfering in the elections. Russia does not hide that it does not want Kılıçdaroğlu and supports Erdoğan.

Although Biden shows that he supports the opposition candidate Kılıçdaroğlu in his speeches, we can clearly see that he supports Erdoğan considering the fact that the US deep state works in favor of Erdoğan. Biden supports Erdogan.

Considering that Erdogan is anti-US, as a Turk, I would prefer that Biden, as I see his do maximum damage to the US, should remain as US president. Thanks to Biden, the United States and NATO will soon collapse.

So now we have a deal to avert default which leads to less tax income, more defense spending and in a stroke of legislative genius, it cuts food stamps while somehow making that program more expensive.

I should be outraged but I think it's rather impressive.
