Star Trek Picard, totally sucked.

Of course he is.  It was ideal back then.  But the modern Pike seems to be decent so I'm all for this pre-TOS reboot.

I see them in Discovery.  I'm a little optimistic.  I also think there's hope for a kind of old school format similar to TOS that doesn't involve a season long arc.
