What have I missed?

Everyone still alive and all that?

Hey!
I'm sorry. Am I to understand that when you have a boner you like to imagine punching the shit out of Tom Bishop? That's disgusting.

Welcome back therm.

Everyone who has survived thus far have checked into the roll call thread.  The status of all others is uncertain.  There is some hope that those individuals are still alive.

I'm sorry to say I don't know. Look at these posts:
My dad has been taken to the hospital :(
Do they think it's the virus?
They think it might be, he's been tested and we're waiting for the results but right now they're treating him for severe pneumonia, on oxygen and antibiotics. He got worse overnight though despite the oxygen so it's worrying.

I gave up booze for Lent and I'm strongly considering cancelling Lent.

Fuck it, Lent is cancelled, I'm having a drink. Dad has been moved to intensive care and put on a ventilator. Test results came back, definitely corona. Fuck fuck fuck.

Definitely trying to think positively - he's got a ventilator so that's an immediate plus, he's 65 so he's not in the riskier age groups, he does have heart problems but that's why he's on the ventilator, so his body doesn't have to work so hard and strain his heart.

What are the odds for people once they are a critical case? Most still recover right?

Day whatever and I have a crushing pain in my chest :(

Going over it again breaks my heart!

Hey!

HEY!

Welcome back therm.

Everyone who has survived thus far have checked into the roll call thread.  The status of all others is uncertain.  There is some hope that those individuals are still alive.

I'm pretty sure I had the 'rona a week or two ago. I live in NY and was laid up in bed for about a week and a half. Probably the sickest I've been in my adult life. It was mostly GI stuff, but I've read in younger people it presents that way quite a bit more frequently than they thought. Apparently deep lower lobe pneumonia manifests as stomach pain and nausea and doesn't always include a cough.

I could see how it could kill an inferior specimen of human, if that was it.

You should have your antibodies tested so you can give plasma. MAYBE YOU COULD BE THE SAVIOR.

It's a physical distance party, where we can still be socially together via the magic of the interwebs

I haven't left my apartment unnecessarily in weeks.

Years, actually.

I'm not going to start now.
