if photos from space are fake
« on: January 26, 2007, 03:38:55 PM »
how do you know what continents are truly shaped like? have you seen an aerial view for yourself?

how do you know of the ice wall's existence? have you seen it yourself?

is the entire purpose of your theory to poke holes in scientific theory of a round earth or do you believe it? if it is just to play devil's advocate, why not spend efforts arguing other unproven theories? wasting all the time on one theory seems like it would result in a very narrow scope of debate skills

We don't. We don't even know for sure that all of the continents on the map actually exist.

EDIT: When I say "we", I mean all of humanity.

D-Draw did. His word is good enough for me.

did he travel the entire circumfrence of the ice wall to assure that it was in fact an ice wall around the entire world and not just one big chunk of ice sitting in the middle of an ocean? and if his word is good enough, how is the word of an astronaut not good enough?

Astronauts are in on the conspiracy. Their checks are signed by the croup in charge of falsifying evidence to support the Round Earth Conspiracy.

I am not sure how much of the wall D-Draw explored. Ask him.

Do you honestly believe this? I have friends who were at one time in the Navy on ice breakers that can completely debunk your theory. There is no ice wall and if there were, where does it end?

Are you saying that we didn't know the lay of the continents before we went to space? I hope, for your sake, that's not what you meant. There are tons of other ways of surveying land, even while on the GROUND, plus there were cartographers in planes far before they were in space ships. I mean, honestly...

As I've mentioned before, the argumentation of two theories against each other in turn strengthens BOTH theories until one fails. A lot of people here argue for the sake of fairness in the debate and also to strengthen our beliefs. There are also some who actually do believe it as well.
