Facts and logical analysis...but often it's dismissed out of hand.  So, providing facts and logical analysis should also be met with logical rebuttal.  Both sides of an argument should work this way.

But I have to partly agree with your  " 'evidence' is a moot point anyway" when it comes to the flat-Earth.
Flat-Earther's claim that "The FET (Flat Earth Theory) is an obvious truth[1]" and then ignore all contrary evidence as being fabricated.
