K95 masks (without vent holes) and surgical masks both reduce the chances of spreading viruses through droplets or aerosols, as designed. That's all I'm saying.

Putting your hand in front of your mouth while coughing and sneezing also reduces droplets and aerosols. Yet it's not a proper way to prevent the spread of a truely airborne pathogen.

Ok, so we're pointlessly arguing just to argue and for no other reason.  Glad we cleared that up!
