As the small to medium sized business owner that you are and perhaps your biz is regulated more than most I can see the appeal. And I'm all for deregulation just as much as regulation. There's just the 'baby out with the bathwater' thing that has to be examined.
He talks about how hard it was to get a wine tasting bar into a stripmall in CA due to some 'frosted glass' regs or some such. Yeah, that's insane. Examine and dispense forthwith. When we run into problems is when we go wholesale; 'Frack Montana by all means necessary'. It's never black and white, so much gray area. And case by case.
Deregulating is 'chipping' not 'driving'.
As for the second bit, yeah, I've found both; the older we get the more conservative and the older we get the more liberal. My experience with people is split down the middle. So I think it's garbage to really state one way or the other is defacto.
I haven't seen any difference so far, we shall see with the new location in process.
As for age and socialism/left... I dunno, seems pretty accurate from what I have seen of people and myself. I was pretty left in my teens, then moved right pretty quick after being exposed to the real world. Now after success, find myself moving more left again, though not for my own benefit as it was in my early years. But for others, seeing the giant gap forming.
However, still pretty anti government since they waste most of the money they take anyways. Would rather deal with charities and be on the board so at least you can make sure the money is going where it needs. So I dunno.
Imagine what would happen (for instance) if public transportation like taxi's was deregulated.
There was a time it was and it was terrible and dangerous. Just watch Uber as it continues to become shittier and shittier, it's fate has already been sealed, just watch the show. Only reason it is still alive is dumb ass investors pumping billions in it...a model that has never turned a profit and never will...the early NYC cab model before regulation is all we need to see the end of the story.
Idiots
Worst of all, he believes in gods.
What are you even on about?
