How does that show anything about Trump support?

Thats like saying Wise could be a great leader if he wasn't paranoid and had charisma.
But I never said he is a Trump supporter, he said I said that... All I said was that the main issue he seems to have with Trump is the Putin shit.

And that he was corrupt to the core. You forgot that pretty important qualifier for the statement

I also agree with the sentiment and for a time held hope. One thing that Trump had that other Presidents didn't was a shitload of money. Therefore he would not have to be beholden to his sponsors and lobbyists.

Therefore, Trump had a unique position where he could tell others to STFU and run the country his way, for the benefit of voters and not the usual sponsors. Perhaps like most others, he had noble intentions like wanted to get out of the Middle East.

This is why Bloomberg maybe could be a good candidate?? I dont know much except he seems less unhinged than Trump, better spoken and mannered than Trump, and has the money to fund his own campaign so wont 'owe' anybody once he's in.

But fear sells. And Trump is selling lots of it.

Pez, I don't even remember you being a member of the forum when Obama was running for president the first time. If you were you probably hadn't acquired this level of retartation yet.
Did you ever say that about Obama then? Because honestly it seems to me like you're constantly looking for reasons to get upset about queer people, or something like that, and it's getting pretty weird and annoying.

I do not have to look for reasons!

Pete 43,274 votes
Sanders 45,842 votes

Obviously Pete is the winner so he gets more delegates.  Because Democrats can't math.

Interesting New Hampshire polling.    Klobuchar is polling ahead of Warren and Biden,  but still lagging behind Buttigieg and Sanders.

Quote
The latest installment of the 7 News/Emerson College tracking poll in New Hampshire, conducted Feb. 7-8, showed Sanders at 30 percent, Buttigieg at 20 percent, Sen. Amy Klobuchar at 13 percent, Sen. Elizabeth Warren at 12 percent and former Vice President Joe Biden at 11 percent.

Where did Pez go, is he in hiding?

They don't exist because the only way for them to be implemented would be financially catastrophic.  Take a look at Warren's Medicare for all and the costs.  Sanders is smart enough to be vague.

It takes seconds to Google "Sanders medicare for all finance plan" or something like that and see that this is false.

Quote
When you think about how his ideas would be implemented, it doesn't take a genius to see that nothing is free, the costs would be staggering, and the means to pay for them would a financial disaster.
You're not gonna expand on that? You're just gonna ignore all the countries that have implemented similar policies and just say "well it seems to me like it would be expensive and we'd go bankrupt"? The US already spends trillions on healthcare, more per capita than (almost?) any other country, including the ones with universal. I'm really tired of people just saying it's impossibly expensive without any effort to explain why.

Quote
Non Specific example:  Idea X over the next 10 years will cost $20Trillion.  People will get X for free as the government pays for it.  Where does the government get the money to pay for it.  Tax payers.  Tax income per yer doesn't meet the needs to pay for it.  How do you get the extra money to pay for it?
Why don't you just look at the plans proposed?
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.sanders.senate.gov/download/options-to-finance-medicare-for-all%3Finline%3Dfile&ved=2ahUKEwiJ5K71msDnAhXtsaQKHcJAB3wQFjABegQIBRAC&usg=AOvVaw2tqCxQugfNOPAoT_zhxHsW
The first thing I noticed is that Sanders didn't sign it...as a matter of fact, it doesn't even has his name printed on it.

You are a joke.

The second thing that needs to be brought up is that everyone who has Medicare A+B still needs a supplement insurance policy from a private provider, plus a Medicare D plan for prescription drugs.

BUNCH OF FLUFF offered by you, as has been typical of you for probably all of your life.

And which one of those other countries has a comparable population of ~330M and infrastructure stretching across ~3.97 million square miles of land, ~12.5k miles of coastline, etc.
I'm trying to understand how that's relevant. You could have said "how many of these countries' names started with an 'A'? How many of these countries give a shit about baseball? (now that I think about it Cuba cares about baseball and is piss poor but somehow still has better healthcare than the US for poor people but it doesn't start with an A)". It wouldn't be any less relevant. The US has the second highest GDP per capita in the world so population is not an excuse. Nether is coastline, idk why you thought that one would be relevant. It's not like coastline needs healthcare.
The US is not even close to second.

The populations of countries with basic socialized medicine, such as Norway, are largely homogeneous.

And that is a factor.

There's a weird strain of the left who rate people on a hierarchy of oppression. Pete Buttigieg is not nearly oppressed enough to satisfy them. They even complained when he kissed his husband. I never suggested there were thousands of these people, but they do make a lot of noise.

I guess I should stop being surprised that it is impossible to have a normal conversation with Pez.

Pez is like that know-it-all kid in school who just refused to admit there was something he didn't know.  Even when proven wrong he retreats into pedantry,  and nit-picking.

Biden is damaged goods.  ( Trump's dirt campaign worked ),  Mayor Pete is going to run headlong into the homophobic attacks,  Bernie is too old and too radical,  Warren would make a great Treasury Secretary,  Kamala Harris for AG?

So who's left?   Bloomberg?  Klobuchar?
Biden's trouble has been he is a shitbag.

Obama wouldn't even endorse him.

Trump wants Biden to win.

Lackey is right.

Americans hate eachother.  They're racist, mystoginist, assholes.  Just look how New Yorkers hate New Jersey.

Ask one American if he feels kinship with someone on the other side of the country and they'll tell you 'hell no.'

Until Americans can like eachother like civilized people, there is no hope.

We have 11 official languages, and by extension, essentially 11 different cultural groups, of which "The English" is one of them. If you are Xhosa and you go to a Zulu area, you will get more than bitchin.

People belonging to the same state/country does not make people homogeneous.
It just means they have the same rights to travel freely in that part of the planet, and maybe vote n stuff.

Homogeneous is when people have the same cultures, back ground, language and general understanding of the world. Something American People do not have.

No, he is right.  Psychology is a big factor.

In America, you're taught to survive on your own.  Stand on your own two feet as the lone hero.    Now, in large cities, this is far less prevelent because well... You don't need to.  You have millions of people around, all doing jobs that are needed and you don't have time for anything else.

Rural areas, however, are required to be more self sufficient.  Especially when neighbors are miles away.

Do this plus add a few thousand miles and you get issues.

No, it's not much different in rural areas now. Maybe 40 years ago, and maybe in some places up north (like the Dakotas and Montana), but family farm life is basically over in the US.
