And which one of those other countries has a comparable population of ~330M and infrastructure stretching across ~3.97 million square miles of land, ~12.5k miles of coastline, etc.
Usa- 9.8 million square km
China. 1.3 Billion over 9.5 million square km. 95% public health care coverage that pays about 50% of costs. They are working for 70% in the next few years.
Russia. Full coverage. 146 million people over 17.1 million square km.
Brazil - full coverage. 209 million people over 8.5 mllion square km.
I'm sorry, were you expecting something else?
In fact, smaller countries should be at a disadvantage. Less market to bargain with when negotiating prices. Less tax income. Less resources. And yet, still money to give people care.
And if you honestly think giving people fully paid health care makes them weak, you clearly don't see the value in having a strong, healthy workforce. Also: please don't have kids. You'll get them killed.
