A trip
« on: November 25, 2019, 06:30:03 AM »
Hey everyone,
I'm very adamant of finding out for myself that the world is flat, I'm new to the community and so I wanted to discuss with someone who's really familiar with the in's and out's of this subject,
I have a couple of questionsand I'd be glad if someone could help me,
I thought about doing a trip around Antarctica, and by measuring the time it would take me, prove that the earth is flat as the distances are vastly different in the round earth model.
Do you think this is feasible? has anyone tried it before? who should I talk to if I want to attempt such a feat?
Thanks a lot!

You cannot go to Antarctica, its off limits. Stay home and believe in flat earth. Earth is not just flat it is infinite. Every continent is resting upon Infinite ocean called the ocean of Eden.

The bottom of the "Infinite Ocean" actually connects all continents together.
So, obviously, the land is below the sea, poking in the form of continents here and there.

The configuration of that bottom has been explored in detail mostly by sonar.
Google for "ocean bottom cartography" and, among the other results,
the three videos will emerge about ocean floor mapping.

By curcumnavigating the Antarctica - with multiple minor turnings - you'll verify the true shape of the earth.

Whether it is north polar or south polar.

The multiple turnings is the Clue.

Globe? It is skipped 8)

So he is gonna conduct his measurements and experiments from the comfort of his luxury ship room? May be he should study the shape of the earth from Disney Walt resort or Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Vegas? You guys are getting dumber and dumber.

Why not? There is a lot one can observe from a ship in the Antarctic Ocean. For example, one can track Southern stars while sailing East-West or West-East. Or the direction from which the sun rises and sets and the number of daylight hours.

This is quite feasible, but has the associated risks of travelling in open ocean. I recommend you find a charter boat service which conducts voyages in the open ocean.
There is also no need to go all the way to Antarctica if you don't want to. Instead you can just go between South America, South Africa and Australia/NZ.
This would also mean you can take more direct paths rather than trying to travel along the coast of Antartica and the difference in distance between the FE/RE model is quite significant even at that latitude.

I also recommend doing this in summer.

However note that while this can be used to show a RE, it is harder to show a FE. That is because for a RE, nothing stops you taking longer by not taking a direct route. As such for a FE you need to show that you are taking a fairly direct route between the locations you travel.

Also for the results indicating a RE, it really just refutes the commonly presented FE model. Others will have a bi-polar or south pole centred model which can still be compatible with the measurements, at least to some degree of error.

Just be sure to take a good, accurate flat earth map with you. Oh. Wait. There isn't one.

Where is Antarctic ocean? I never heard of it. Before trying to sound like a scientist, stop talking out of your ass and learn the names of world's oceans.

Many have tried to circumnavigate the antarctic. In reality what they have shown is that there is a large body of land off its coast that matches the dimensions of a round earth antarctic.

It sounds to me that you're the one that has a lot to learn. The Antarctic Ocean is the region of ocean that encircles Antarctica.

It sounds to me that you're the one that has a lot to learn. The Antarctic Ocean is the region of ocean that is most immediately contained by Antarctica.
Fixed that for you. Seems to me like you don't even know the shape of the earth!

Around Antarctica. It is also known as the Southern Ocean.
Some things have multiple names.

But the problem with trying to name oceans is that you aren't even drawing an arbitrary line in the sand anymore, you are drawing it in water.
Some places don't even recognise it as an ocean and instead have the other oceans, such as the Pacific, Indian and Atlantic ocean all go south to Antarctica.

Fixed that for you. Seems to me like you don't even know the shape of the earth!
Really?
He seems to know that it is round rather than foolishly thinking it is flat.

Some hundred years ago such statement could fool much more people than today. Nowadays tens of thousands of people go there every year. And similar or greater numbers fly the "non-existing" flights across southern hemisphere.

You should then have that added to your map

Well, you have already nailed your colours to the mast... to quote, 'I'm very adamant of finding out for myself that the world is flat'...

If you have said 'I'm very adamant of finding out for myself ***the shape of the world***', I would have applauded you (although there are easier ways than traveling to Antarctica). But your words clearly illustrate your closed mind...
