As a noob I went through the attack everything phase as you do when you join a forum phase.

I do think it is to the FE credit that RE are welcome on the forums. Yes there is some overzealous posting and on the most part I have seen the moderators, moderating quite well.

But moderation of opinions, that just leads to an echo chamber, might as well just join twitter if thats what you are after

But it is more than the annoying fisking (which does make debates impossible), it is the fact that he resorts to trolling and spamming which also make any debate intractable.

He is sabotaging each and every discussion with trolling arguments, not to mention the unbelievable vindictivness of each paragraph.

Imagine what the readers, potential new participants in the discussions, have to go through when they witness the harrowing ordeal we endure with all of the trolling and fisking and spamming.

They will simply shy away from getting involved in any debates.

Why should we be so privileged as to be on the receiving end of rabinoz and jackblack's torrents of nonsense spewed forth on a daily basis? Yes, rabinoz has been banned for two months, but we have to do something about jackblack also.

No one else would put up with this kind of damaging interference.

I shall be honest. A two-month ban for presenting arguments for the purpose of debate seems a little excessive, by my standards. It makes it look as though Flat Earthers have something to fear from Round Earthers, and would rather use the discipline of the Mods than be honest and have a true debate.

Seriously, if you are debating someone, it is not up to YOU to decide summarily that your opponent has been bested. You might choose to think so, and that is your prerogative, but to simply say, "I have won the debate", with no evidence to back that up, just makes you look silly, no matter WHAT side of the debate you are on.

When I do, I have to make full use of the any bibliographical references in order to convey a certain idea, or to respond to the challenges issued by the RE.

But I do not troll the debates like rabinoz and jackblack do.

My messages are straightforward, I always bring to my aid the best references possible.

By contrast, for the past four years, rabinoz has been posting a message every 20 minutes, every hour, every day, every week, every month.

Back in 2011, as an example, it was quite an enjoyable experience to take part in discussions. I used much the same references.

Yes, it was my very hard work, among other FE, which finally brought the convincing proofs that were used to enhance the value of this forum.

Remember: the flat earth youtube phenomenon was born out of this forum, the debates which did feature my full length messages which you complain about.

Ever since 2015 and 2016, we had to deal, non stop, with rabinoz and jackblack's basic trolling, without any moderation at all, that is why they persevered and practically took over this forum.

I repeat: take away the trolling and the spamming, and they are left with nothing to say.

I don't think it is "stirring up trouble" to do that. I admit, I AM a REer. What I have seen is that when SandoKhan can't argue logically, he accuses the person of being a Troll. Now some RE people here may indeed be Trolls. Anyone is capable of being that, if their posts are obnoxious enough. Nevertheless, what I have seen as I have looked through this site (and the other one as well) is FEers who are unwilling to debate, and just want everybody to accept blindly what they think. While I think we can all agree that the mods are, in fact, tyrants, I would ask you for an example of this "silencing" that you speak of as it relates to a RE not blindly accepting what a FE has to say.

I already bammed them. I didn't bam Diego007 because I figured he forgot his log in for Jacques007(or whatever it was). I also banned his "Diego" acct, which was made the same time he made the Diego007 acct. I figured he messed up and forgot to add the super cool 007. We're dealing with a genius. We should cut him some slack.

He is using fisking, denials, to cause as much havoc on this forum as possible. And he has been allowed to do this for the past three years virtually uninterrupted.

Why should we be so fortunate and privileged as to be on the receiving end of jackblack's trolling tactics? Is there anyone else who would allow this kind of behaviour on their forum? I know of no one else.

He is not here to learn, to change his mind, only to deny using fisking as a basic technique with each and every message, a tactic clearly designed to make any debate impossible.

I would suggest if you are not going to ban him now, that the next time he personally insults a member in anywhere but Angry Ranting, to take his entire past history into account and retroactively punish him for all the offensives.
