Use the PRACTICAL DEFINITION UTILIZED BY RELATIVISTS TO DESCRIBE GEODESY:

A geodesic generalizes the notion of a "straight line" to curved spacetime, INTO FOUR DIMENSIONS.

Why should we believe you are an expert when your opening statement is that 7 billion people are also experts? At least 1/4 of them can't agree if the earth goes around the sun or the sun goes around the earth. Is your level of expertise up to that excellent standard?

1/4 of world population doesnt know that the earth orbits the sun? That's saddening. Where did you get that statistic from?

Thanks for the link. 34% 66% of those interviewed in the EU couldn't answer the question correctly, that's really sad.

Given the absolute fact that all of the RE here do not know what causes terrestrial gravity, and have no answer for it, the percentage should have been much higher than 25%.

Things fall.
The why?
Would you have the same argument about chemistry?

Limiting that statement to RE is not really "the whole truth".
The whole modern humanity is still unaware of the true nature of gravity.
Only known things about it are the manifestations.
For now.

We can send probes precisely anywhere in the Solar system using gravity of
planets, moons and asteroids, we can determine and use Lagrange points,
but we still don't know why it works.
I don't have to fight about anything.
These things are not about me.
When one points facts out, they speak for themselves.
The main goal in all that is simplicity.

Gravity is caused by mass.
