It's ok, Magellan. I just thought that since you're new to the game that if you were someone important that you might not know to message DuckDodgers and Gayer. The ghost council is a fun part of the game.

Stop to confuse player more. Why don't you count my name? What is difference of gayer, dd and wise?

I have a clue about who to clam chowder today. WILL ANYONE JUMP ON THIS BANDWAGON?

[I vote to poison Junker with the chowdah]

1 vote Magellan
1 vote Junker

(I'm not sure if the vote counts are correct)

I'm sorry. Am I to understand that when you have a boner you like to imagine punching the shit out of Tom Bishop? That's disgusting.

[I vote to have Junker eaten by the sky]

Junker - 2

So you would vote for junker if given the chance?

Is this information good?

I have a terrible track record of making good moves in this game. You know this. But I voted Magellan for no reason other than a hunch. And a bandwagon? Now that's something to get on board with.

Why are you guys voting for me? Tell the friggin prophet to scan me ffs. Wise was intuitive enough to save me, but then you all murdered him anyway, and he turned out to be a villager. I think I was wrong about Jura, and he was just getting back at me. Probably time to take a hard look at Jane...

Anyway, [I vote to cancel a vote for junker]

Clarification please: Is it against the rules to reveal that someone has PM'd me? What about if that person is already breaking the rules by posting during the day after being killed? I don't remember reading any rule against revealing PMs, but my memory was lousy even before I became an old fart. Not that I'm big on the whole idea of obeying rules, unless there's a good reason for them. But when the person complaining that I broke a rule is breaking a rule himself while complaining, then I think we're getting into Three Stooges* territory.

(* I think wise is Turkish, and might not know who the Three Stooges were. So: The Three Stooges were an extremely low-brow comedy group, featured in film shorts and maybe some longer movies, who relied on slapstick and pretending to be extraordinarily stupid, and on hitting each other in ways that IRL would have been fatal. Hammers to the head, eye-gouging, etc. The comedy was often based in situations where these three complete idiots would be hired by normal people for jobs which they were utterly incapable of doing properly. So as I said, breaking the rules to complain that I had broken a rule seems like a very Three Stooges kind of thing to do.)

Note that I'm not trying to compare wise to the Stooges. I'm merely commenting on the irony of his way of complaining. English is obviously not his first language, and I am well aware that judging someone by their facility with your language is a trap we should all strive to avoid. I used to be fluent in Spanish (before I forgot a good part of my vocabulary) and I had a Mexican friend who spoke just a little English. This friend was extremely intelligent, which was obvious when we spoke in Spanish, but when we spoke in English (which we did because he wanted to practice and improve) he came across as kind of stupid, which was just the result of his not being able to express himself well in English.

Anyway, wise blocked me once after speaking rather nastily to me, and he'll probably block me again after he reads this or a couple more of my posts, so I'm not going to bother replying to him directly.

Revealing the contents of PMs is generally frowned upon over the rest of the forum, but for the purposes of this game that's relaxed because, well, you kinda need to sometimes.
Just ignore Wise. Even the people that tried to give him a chance have given up when it comes to him.

Damn junker...I didn't even know you were playing... That changes a little for me.

However, I haven't received a reply via PM from the source saying to kill junker of why this is so... I am starting to think it is a trick and I may go my own way, I dunno.

Mags, like Jane said sharing PMs from other players in the context of the game is fine. Lying about it is also fine.

Sharing PMs from the narrator which establish proof of a role isn't. But that's a hard rule to enforce so sometimes narrators hand out false PMs indicating a player's role.

The game involves a lot of deception. And a lot of it is played in PMs.

Thank you, Jane and Crouton, for the clarification. So I was not breaking any rule. But wise is still posting during the day. I'm fine with that. Just noting. Wise, if you have not blocked me again yet, be aware that I reserve the right to reveal any PM you send me if I feel like it. A lot will depend on whether it's an abusive, demanding PM or a friendly one.

So a lot of the game is played in PMs. That's fine, but I don't really feel like I know the players very well. So I don't know how to take any advice I might get. Because even your friends might give you bad advice in a game. Well, I warned everybody at the start that I'd be a lousy player. I'm kind of the one who always gets in the way. Like the really lousy volleyball player who can never hit the ball, and by being where the ball is coming, prevents anybody else from hitting it either. (Which, BTW, is me.)

What's really ridiculous is that even though I don't care if my team wins or looses, and I don't really care if I get chowdered, I am kind of happy that the only vote to chowder me comes from someone who doesn't seem to bear me any malice. It kind of feels as though my fellow villagers like me (except the deceased wise who thinks I'm a globularist).

Just use your judgement, or just jump on a bandwagon if you want. No one's perfect at this game.
If it helps us not knowing how you play makes you very difficult to analyse too  :P
