I still can't figure out how anyone who is Christian would believe these grifters are doing God's work. They are the opposite of everything Jesus.

People want to believe.  They promise their followers that wealth, happiness and good luck can be theirs, if they believe in the lord and donate money. 

Then when it all turns to shit,  it's the fault of unbelievers and demons, and you didn't donate enough or didn't have enough faith.

Trump plays the same game,  lies and promises that always turn to crap and only ever benefit Trump and the swamp creatures.
