What about the space station? Is that a fake? Why fake that?
Also, nowadays, you can pay to go into space. Is that real?
Surely someone going into space would notice the shape of the earth, and, if it was flat, wouldn't they notice?

Yes they would notice that it's a disc, that's why all stories and claims about space travel have been faked by the Conspiracy.

I guess I don't see why the government would do this. If they are doing this just for money, what are they doing with it? Paying guards off at the ice wall and buying software for Nasa can't possible spend all the money they are making.

I personally don't speculate that they are doing this for money. I believe that there is something hidden on the other side of the earth that the Conspiracy wants to keep secret. Also, I don't believe that any government is in on the conspiracy but that all the governments have been mislead by the conspiracy along with everyone else.

All in all, to find out the conspiracy's motives (or any other detail about them) you'd have to ask them. Unfortunately they don't have a website displaying contact details so this may be a bit difficult.

Well, if NASA is run by our government then the US government must be in on it. I have seen shuttle launches and watched with a telescope/binoculars until the vehicle was out of sight. Whether or not they actually left the atmosphere I obviously can't say as I wasn't in the shuttle with them. However, at that altitude the people on board would obviously had a decent enough view to get an idea of the true shape of our planet and would have reported this back to mission control.

I actually recently had an opportunity to speak with an astronaut who had been on the shuttle in orbit. (Assuming Earth is flat) If the government didn't tell him to keep his mouth shut about the true shape, then who did?

Not true. The Conspiracy could maintain many high ranking government officials and also be completely in control of NASA - this would not mean that everybody in the government would be in on it. Your logic is flawed.

Very true, I have no doubt that astronauts know the real shape of the earth. They're just part of the conspiracy.

The conspiracy. Have you noticed that government agents (aka spies) often try to infiltrate other governments to gain information? Picture the conspiracy as a secret government that none of the other governments know exists.

It is unknown what methods the conspiracy uses to keep people in line. It could be threats or rewards. I suggsest you ask the conspiracy that question.
