Personally, my favorite is either Eminem during the 1998-2001 days or Nas 1994-1996 era. None this mumble jumble.

Eminem
Jay Z


Dre and Pharrell are two of my favorite producers. I'd listen to just about anything they work on.

Don't listen to mumble rap. Listen to some old albums from like the 90's. I guarantee you, your opinion will change. I recommend listening to Illmatic, which is considered by many, the greatest album of all time.

If anyone isn't a fan of rap/hip-hop but is open-minded, feel free to suggest some music you do like (regardless of genre) and I'd be happy to try and suggest some rap you might like. And if anyone has any more edge lord comments about how an entire genre of music is bad, I'll be telling your mom and she won't let you see the new Avengers. Which is fair, because it's PG-13 anyway.

Honestly, there are samples of every genre that stand out above the rest.
Think Willy Nelson or Pink Floyd, etc.

There's a few good Greek artists as well, ΛΕΞ for example. Or Hatzifrageta, but they're not really rappers per se and they're not serious, they're just hilarious.

I don't listen to hip hop very much.

I used to listen to Del Tha Funky Homosapien and Dr Octagon too, also def jux.
Nowadays i can't really jive with what alot of musicians talk about.

Lil Dicky is pretty good, and funny too. I just recently stumbled across him. Sticking with white rappers for a moment, I also really like the Beastie Boys.

Thoughts on "ISIS" from Joyner Lucas' album, "ADHD"? I was shocked to see him collaborate with Logic, since they have had beef in the past, including callouts in other songs from Joyner. The music video is also hype af
