Report to Moderator - Shorten Time Limit Between Reports

Need to reduce the cooldown time between Report to Moderator occurences.  120 Seconds is a long time when multiple spam posts occur and need to be reported.

Yes and when I tried to report a second post it said I had reported in the last 120 seconds.

If you bothered to read NotSoSkeptical's post you might realise that he is referring to reporting the numerous spamming "attacks" the site has suffered recently.

You're a moron of epic proportions.  It's not about posting, it's about reporting posts.  There is a time limit between someone reporting as such, and it is too long.  For being on this site for as long as you have, you should know that.

Most of the time it seems to just be one spambot that posts a lot, could probably just add a 'yeah, everything this guy does' to the report.

This measure is already for Ameritards who want to spams the reporting spam property. This thread has proven by its Op'er that a non required issue. Because he is inconsistent. For requesting a suggestion requires a spesific level of intelligence. It is clearly for not retards, not for Ameritards.

Stop spamming this thread. 

Being able to report lots of posts quickly doesn't get them taken care of faster. I don't even check the reported posts until after I've gone through the upper forums looking for spambot threads. It is most helpful when there's a spambot post in an already active thread and it gets buried by other replies.

Yes, I agree, but there are times when trying to report the buried spam is stopped because of the limit.  I've waiting 5 minutes, still gotten the stupid 120 second warning, and just gave up on reporting it.  It's a nuisance when the reporting system doesn't work efficiently.

For what it's worth, normally when we ban a spammer we go through and remove pretty much every post they've ever made too. So you only need to report the spammer and not post.

Yeah, when I'm looking at their profile right before the ban, that post count is like a tally for me. I'm going after all of them.

I imagine the stopgap there is to just link the post in a PM to someone suitable.

It helps to stop the bots automating this and annoying us and hiding legitimate concerns. If you are offended more than twice in two minutes, thats a "you" problem.

We generally see spam before you
and take care of it before anyone even needs to know.

The "report a thread" function gives wise, and a few others,
an opportunity to feel like they are doing god's work.
