Well, the wind took down the rest of my cherry tree and the cutting I planted.  Yes, the whole tree this time, not just a brach.  The wind also took out a bunch of my fruit and all of my upside down tomatoes.  Fucking wind.  I will see if I can root enzyme the entire tree.

Why are so many gardeners HIPPIES?  I guess regular gardeners do not make videos, they're just out there digging in the dirt. I do appreciate the hippy gardeners though, they've got some good ideas... but I am not going to wash my hands in compost tea that also has some urine in it!

Growin' tomaters. . . .

So, git yerself a 55 gallon can.
Fill it half the way with cow turd.
Top off with water.

Let 'er sit until the 'maters start a producin' berries. <--- yep, berries.

Water every week with the bull tea. Add water and poo as needed.

It actually works pretty well.  ;D

Well I don't know what their official name is, they're red skinned potatoes. They're delicious, but now I've had them every day for about a week and I need some OTHER WAYS OF EATING THEM. I've got boiled with green beans, baked, cut up and baked with onions and peppers, mashed, and microwaved so far.

Top of the list though...

Scalloped potatoes with ham (and bacon bits!). Go overboard on the cheese and make it au gratin.
Twice baked
Mashed potatoes. You better use lots of garlic and butter though. Don't make it boring.
Potato bread
I'd reserve several for throwing at lonelywanger when he's not looking
Smashed potatoes - ever tried those? They are pretty great. Something like these: https://www.recipetineats.com/crispy-smashed-potatoes/
You could make a mashed potato mountain with gravy lava that may or may not set a world record
Make a shephard's pie, it makes a great top layer
O MY LORT, make a Moose Soup, you dirty bitch (but you'll need some other ingredients)

Does your wife prefer this model red Pontiac?

Those are too tough and take too long to cook.

No, I'm not that good of a gardener. I'm really good at growing southern peas, so I get enough of them to put in the freezer for about a year. Potatoes are super easy to grow, but wtf am I going to do with all of them? lol

The other stuff I grow, like tomatoes and squash, I just try to grow enough to have some fresh in season. Sometimes I have so many tomatoes that I have to freeze them, but usually it gets hot and rainy and the bugs come out then tomato season is over. Winter gardening is much better, it's easy to grow all kinds of greens, cabbages, and root vegetables.

The hot peppers were a surprise! I had a worm bed in an antique coke cooler (the kind that was in stores with the sliding doors on top). A tree feel on it and I abandoned the worms for about a year before I dragged all the tree limbs away and my brother got the chainsaw after the big stuff. I had no idea there were peppers growing in it, and I don't know what kind they are, but I think they're Thai bird chiles. They make lots of chiles every year, and I hardly have to do anything. I guess they just really like it where they are and the dirt they're growing in has got lots of worm castings in it.

ROCK DUST!

finely pulverized igneous rocks (made of "magma" like granite or basalt), and potentially all different types of rocks for all different types of remineralization.

this is a long lasting fertilizer

I read the Brazillian govt is making it a part of their agrcultural program. Here's an old video from Britain.

I planted a bunch of palm seeds I got from Jamaica a few days back. There's so many kinds of palm, i can't figure out what kind they are. Also a few date palms for, all for house plants. I also finally planted my garden box with chard and carrots, and a few potatoes, should be easy enough. I'm putting some rock dust to the test,  on a very small scale.

I also planted some morning glory vines, but they haven't sprouted after nearly a week. these are like sweet potatoe plants i think, or yams; related if not the same. If they don't work, i'd like to get a yam and grow it over winter.
