Famine is soon, not today. Government has started to sell vegetables for prevent the famine. When it stops, people will start to eat each other.

I'm planting seeds of insanity in wise's head while living there rent free.

The squash have taken over. I am now one of those people who give away squash. I'm thinking about leaving bags of it on people's front porch without asking if they want any.

The polite thing to do would be to leave it in their mailboxes.

I still have planted nothing. But to give an idea, the bottom of my compost is still frozen.

The big question, though, is how much to water the guerillas and when to harvest them.  Just kidding, I know what it is.  Let us know how it works out.

 This whole guerilla gardeing idea is big for me, i'm thinking of planting secret fruit trees somewhere sometime. The sky is the limit!. But any extensive guerilla garden this year seems like a far off ambition, i can survive another year of grocery store produce.

So, one of my cherry trees lost a branch from the storms we have been having.  I planted the branch using rooting enzymes.  I hope it turns into a new tree.  It is a huge branch, and is the size of a small tree by itself. 

Rooting enzymes? That's a thing we can do?

Yeah, it helps cuttings start roots. I don't know if it works on a tree sized cutting, lol.

I have done it on trees, but it has been a long time.  I use it on things like tomatoes all the time.  In fact, I almost lost a tomato plant to the wind and storms, but I saved a branch using the rooting stuff. 

You could make hundreds of trees!

Do you just use the cheap stuff from walmart, or do you go to a hydroponics shop or something. I've had a bottle from walmart for a while and it doesnt work anymore, i think it was kind of limited to begin with.. maybe my bias. You can also make your own using willow bark or twigs, not sure. And honey is supposed to work for the same purpose. I've also heard seaweed has rooting hormones...?

Is their land where you can start a garden, or plant some secret fruit trees. I guess fig trees must thrive in turkey, wish i could grow them here.

I only have used the store bought stuff.  I don't know the brand I have now, but I don't think I have ever used any that don't work.  I just buy a new jar every year.  I don't think the brand really matters.

I have to rescue my hot peppers because someone just put a huge thing up to park his boat under and now my peppers (which have been living happily where they are for years) are completely in the shade of this monstrosity.  I am going to move some of them into a barrel I cut in half and drilled holes in, but all I've got for dirt is some garden soil I bought at Walmart. I mixed it with a bunch of rotten leaves so maybe it won't be too much fertilizer for a container. Someday I will start making my own compost.
