Tell me I'm wrong! No other super hero movie, including the latest avengers which raked in more than 2 billion dollars even gets a mention. You know if this was 'white panther' it could have had the same musical score but not even a nomination.

We are being told that Wonder Woman was a first for a big screen super hero movie featuring a woman as the main star. We did, but in 1974. I wonder if that was super progressive for its time. It's been rebooted a few time since but only the one featuring Gal Gadot seems to count. Forget that there were ever any others. Doesn't fit in this current male bashing patriarchal society we live in. We have also had Super girl, Black Scorpion, Birds of Prey, Cat Woman, Elektra and Jessica Jones. Now we will get Captain Marvel and Black Widow movies

And I could go on an even bigger list of all the black actors and movies they had a lead or were the majority of the actors but somehow history has been erased and only Black Panther counts. I am 37. I get the impression you are younger. My parents generation, did not have equality for all, I grant you that, but I am not talking about that generation.

It's pretty obvious social media was not a thing until only ~12 years ago or so. I think you would find that many people do live in 'bubbles' there ie they 'like' and read news which is biased to them and their friends are like minded. As such their view of the world is skewed. You would probably agree that social media is not a neutral, factual or independent news source yet many people digest their news from the Facebook 'feed'.
