I thought Alex Trebek was an actor on star trek when I opened this thread.

It makes me wonder, who would replace him on jeopardy?

Considering how WPXII went down I'm thinking Wise.

It's stage 4. Jeopardy will surely die when he does and the world doesn't make sense. Do you think for one second Drew Carey or some other asshole can just step in and replace him like they did with Bob Barker? No. No fucking way. Crouton.

 

Actually bill nye was a serious suggestion. I think he'd be great on the role.

On a serious note, this is a show that has been on basically my whole life. And a man who has been an educator of sorts to me, a part of my life, since I can remember. This was sad news. I can't imagine Jeopardy carrying on with a different host, but I also don't want to know a world without Jeopardy. How could Alex Trebek do this to me? Is it my fault? Could I have done something differently to change things? Is it because he doesn't love me?

I'm only exaggerating a little bit. I'm upset about this. And I see my words - it's all very selfish. But that doesn't change my feelings about the situation.

Famous people that matter to me just need to stop dying. It seems they haven't gotten on board with the boydsterian mandate though.

I think the way it should be is no Trebek, No Jeopardy. I'm a purest like that.

And I think it's a fitting tribute to a guy that has given so much to us. Leave the legacy that he is and hopefully won't be a 'was' anytime soon.

The show must go on. I like trebek but I just don't see him as the lead singer of this band. Get the right host and the show will be fine.

This is the only game show I know of that isn't based on blinking lights and spinning a god damn wheel.
