Are bans listed?

If you're just going to pick up where jimster (who is banned for a week) left off ...

In this post Space Cowgirl may or may not have implied that Googleotomy should have known that jimster was banned. I can't tell if that was a point, or just additional information.

Is there a place where bans are listed?

They are not as of yet. Perhaps somebody.

If I expected Googleotomy to know that jimster was banned for a week I wouldn't have mentioned it, also that post is from Googleotomy's thread of the exact same name as Jimster's so I merged them.

There is a place, yes, however it isn't publicly viewable at this time. The FES dev team is on the case, though.

I'm curious as to the use-case here. If I recall, when this was first introduced as an idea it was by a bunch of trolls that wanted to know when their buds were banned and why so they could qq about it.

This site has been around so long, I question how usable such a list might be as it will have years and years of bans on it. That said the feature has been done for some time and is awaiting infrastructure changes to see the light of day.

You could set it so that it only shows bans from the last 6 months.

That's quite simple - it's about accountability and transparency. No mod is ever going to be popular, that much is given, but if the people wish to be angry, they should be able to base this on facts.
