[Q] FES-Nazism Thread Warranted A Suspension?
« on: January 30, 2019, 12:32:51 PM »
Hello Mod Team,

My main account was banned for posting that FES-Nazism thread. I don't think there is, but is there any way to appeal? I find it very comedic that something as trivial as acknowledging the existence of Nazism and relations towards FES can somehow be labelled trolling.

I don't believe this is really necessary now.

The intent of the thread was not to troll, it was simply for discussion about FES and it's relation to Secret Societies. I don't see how anyone could misinterpret this as "trouble-making" and not serious discussion. The thread was not for discussing racial, ethnic, or religious discrimination.

I find it comedic that I wasn't given any verbal warning at all for any wrongdoing I have done, and straight-away banned for what I can assume is uttering the forbidden "N" word. Ironic, considering that FES is built off of free discussion.

I strongly believe that my thread included disclaimers, was respectful, followed FES rules, and thus, I would like to appeal for my account back. I would also like to discuss how I could better implement a similar thread to follow the rules next time.

Your first post ever was self-admittedly click bait, and was done with the intent of equating FES with Nazi-like behavior. We are not even slightly Nazi sympathetic here. Now you have created an alt, which is also against the rules. Tell me why I shouldn't permaban you.

Not entirely. I used Nazism because it is a popular term for such a topic. I could've also used "FES and Third Positionism" but then nobody would know what I am talking about.

and was done with the intent of equating FES with Nazi-like behavior.
With all due respect, did you even read the post? I made the thread for the discussion between FES and Nazi-Like secret societies, and how they put down FES discussion. Nowhere did I equate FES to Nazism. I simply put up the thread for the discussion of relations between and how secret societies act against FES, as well as broadened the thread to discuss the existence of an Anti-FES Nazi-like society.

We are not even slightly Nazi sympathetic here.
We have something in common then. I hope you are not suggesting that I am somehow a Nazi-Sympathizer for acknowledging the existence of Nazism.

Now you have created an alt, which is also against the rules. Tell me why I shouldn't permaban you.
I couldn't find an appeal button, and I am doing my best.

I'm afraid you have us confused with the United States Constitution. There are a few areas of speech which we absolutely will not tolerate. Racism is among those.

Discussions about racism done in good faith, maybe.  But first you need a good reputation here. If you lead with that then we assume the worst.

I admit I may not have started off on the right foot with discussion about Nazism, but I tried very hard to emphasis the lack of hostilities in that thread. What I am confused about is that thread had nothing to do with racism at all. I used the "Nazi" word to describe a form of government which hides the apparent truth of FES, which I emphasized in the original post.

I understand a zero-tolerance policy on racism. What I don't understand is a zero-tolerance on acknowledgement of the existence of Nazism, especially when related to FES. If using the term "Nazi" is against FES rules, no matter the context, then I truly apologise for violating such.

Your words:

Clickbaity subject title, I know, but NatSoc's aren't the only ones who hold a strong distrust of the international government. ... I want this topic to be strictly for the discussion regarding the links between FES and ideologies similar to Nazism...

I'm permabanning your alt. If we decide you deserve to have the ban on your main lifted, you'll be able to post using that account again.
