i  expect some serious answers since my topic from angry ranting was going nowere.

Code: [Select]

99% of the responses in this topic are so strange and twisted it makes me wonder if there was at least one true FE that answered. Because all the posts, and i'm reffering to the ones that sustain the theory are everything BUT explanations. I'd go for jokes.

i'm saying this for the 3rd or 4th time, not that it would matter. I opened this topic for two reasons:

1. to find out smth about your precious book(s) and how can you take them for granted, the same way we ( billions of ppl ) take for granted thousands of books and hundreds of years of research

2. why would the conspiracy start in the first place. How deep does it go and how many governments you think there are involved.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the answer to the last question is pretty obviuos since you say it's a world conspiracy, therefore ALL the governments are involved in this dirty job for more than hundreds of years.
so basically all the wars, acts of terrorism, millions of deaths were just a sick way for all the governments that cooperate with eachother to play with ppl's minds, distracting them from what it's so obvious and important to hide: the FE
before any FE, FE mocker and other kind of ppl registered will want to answer, i want to remember you THIS IS NOT A TOPIC DISCUSSING THE FLATNESS OR ROUNDNESS OF THE EARTH
While it is stated that the governments are a part of the conspiracy in the FAQ this has yet to be proved.
Personally I speculate that they are fooled by the conspiracy along with everybody else. I believe that the conspiracy doesn't have enough resources and manpower to take on countries so seek to deceive everybody and also infiltrate government organisations.
The governments are not involved in the conspiracy, the conspiracy is involved in the governments.
I speculate that the conspiracy has existed for thousands, not hundreds of years - dating back to the time of the ancient greeks.
Does that cover your conspiracy question?
As for the "precious books" if you want a resource for the book by rowbotham there is a link in the FAQ. I don't believe in the flatness of the earth because of the book but because of my own experiences (involving the Ice Wall) and my own experiments. Personally I think you can discount the majority of what rowbotham says and I find it amazing that he actually realised the earth is flat.
Probably. Do you believe that all flat earthers must adhere to the FAQ or is it that you can't understand how a conspiracy could intefere with world governments?
Spies from one government often infiltrate other governments.  How can you think that the conspiracy doesn't work in a similar fashion?
The conspiracy isn't the only thing the goverments -do-. We've still got the world with 'functional' 'laws' and 'enforcement'. Goverments have other functions too (In theory).
Why would the governments want to infiltrate something like the conspiracy? They already have the conspiracy. There's no 'new' conspiracy. That's like one democracy invading another democracy so they can impliment their government. Stupid? Yes. Expensive? Also yes.
I think you've completely missed what's been said here Derek.
The governments of the world aren't aware of the conspiracy.
are you some kind of idiot or smth?
How can there be a GLOBAL CONSPIRACY that covers up SOMETHING THAT BIG AND IMPORTANT, but still the governments themselves ( who make the plans to cover up the wall, who PAY the people guarding your huge ice wall, who pay for your helipads and snowmobiles and other stuff you know/ assume about) have no clue about it
btw, nice job on contradicting the precious FAQ:
Q: "If you're not sure about the motive, why do you say there is a conspiracy?"
A: Well it's quite simple really; if the earth is in fact flat, then the governments must be lying when they say it isn't.
Q: "The government could not pull off the conspiracy successfully"
A: Actually, they(the governments) could.
Q: "How are the world governments organized enough to carry out this conspiracy?"
A: They(the governments) only appear to be disorganized to make the conspiracy seem implausible.
Probably, but that's not relevant to the argument at hand which is about the motives of the conspiracy.
I supplied you with a motive that you still haven't countered. Instead you try and argue for the FAQ speculation that the governments are not only aware of the conspiracy but also part of it:
In fact you even mention the fact that I don't agree with the FAQ's speculation:
A: Actually, they(the governments) could. [/b]
Q: "How are the world governments organized enough to carry out this conspiracy?"
A: They(the governmants) only appear to be disorganized to make the conspiracy seem implausible.
To get you back on track you have to realise that I can disagree totally with what the FAQ says - it's purely speculation. As Round Earther's point out there is no solid proof for the speculation but only reason. I'm sure you agree with this and that should make you realise that I am not limited by the FAQs speculation, I am free to make my own speculations.
Next you claim that for the conspiracy to exist the governments would have to know about it and be a part of it (arguing for the FAQ's speculations of the conspiracy).
This has no basis.  Global private enterprises (aka multinational corporations) exist without government aid. There is no reason why the government would have to pay for any of the conspiracy's activities. Think of the conspiracy as a large, secretive multinational corporation. Now of course you will argue about the costs involved in the conspiracy for things like the ice wall guards and such. Unfortunately for you this still remains in the realm of speculation. When I went to the Ice Wall I never saw any guards or helicopters or snow mobiles, I'm not saying there aren't any but I definitely didn't see them. There's no point arguing about the costs until we can first agree on them, as this won't happen it remains a pointless argument.  The next thing you may feel inclined to raise is government organisations such as NASA. These are government organisations but they have been taken over by the conspiracy without the government's knowledge. The method of how they do this probably varies from organisation to organisation but they've had a lot of practice (probably thousands of years) and as you can see they're very effective. In this way the conspiracy is involved in governments but does not get money directly from them (but do get it indirectly from things like NASA). The government isn't involved in the conspiracy and has been deceived along with the rest of the world. The conspiracy has its own resources to fund its endeavours.
The conspiracy as you see it and as the FAQ sees it doesn't work as well as this one... that's why you don't like it as much. You hope to tie it to the governments because it makes the conspiracy even harder to imagine than it already is.
Whether or not you want to use my speculation or the FAQ's speculation is irrelevant. In either case I would still continue to speculate that the motive involved is to keep what's on the underside of the earth hidden. Something you haven't countered yet.
It's like watching a bad soap-opera. You have a way of twisting things that you could even fool yourself. I've read what you said but i won't even bother getting back to you because it would be just a waste of words.
I hope there are some other FErs uot there, and if possible, a bit more reasonable than the one above, who could answer my questions
You just don't like my answers because you can't refute them.
C'mon Mr. Flat, why do you suppose that the government is in on the conspiracy? What proof do you have? Unless you can prove to me that the government is part of the conspiracy you'll have to accept that they aren't necessarily part of the conspiracy.
I've just come up with a theory as to whom, exactly, it is that would be behind such a conspiracy, if not the governments of the world. It couldn't just be some multi-national corp. just one wouldn't have the juice to cover something like that up for as long as it's supposed to have been hidden. It would have to be people in positions of power both within numerous multi-national corps, within all or most of the governments, people within institutions of learning, and within the worldwide scientific community. All of these people would have to appear to hold allegiance to whatever company/government/institution/etc they're involved with while their true allegiance is to an organization of which they are all members. It wouldn't even have to be a secret organization. The Purloined Letter as it were.
The Free Masons a.k.a. The Knights Templar.
Think about it. How many people in high positions of power are members of that group? Practically all of them, man. Not to mention the fact that this is an organization thatís been around since Christ. And they havenít answered to any authority, be it secular or spiritual, for hundreds of years. They have the power, they have the resources, they have the experience in hiding astronomical, even world shattering, information from the entire population of the world.
