Shifter opens the door to the scale model of the Infinite Earth room, and is immediately knocked into the void beyond the universe. No penguins were found there. D3 is safe.

And I'm signing off for a bit so this may have been a poor game to start, but hey!

What about A5? Lesser chance of running into something there. Row 5 and Column A both only have 1 bad thing, and there are no check boxes in either yet.

Also, I bet C2, C4, and C5 probably all have penguins. 2 of those 3 must, and possibly all 3 of them do.

B4 and E4, also prime penguin-grounds.

If there is something in A3, we learn pretty much where all the penguins are (almost).

I'll go with A5 or A3.  How many penguins are there?

If there is a penguin on A3, then the rest of A is safe amd the rest of 3 is also safe. So C1, 2, 4 and 5 have penguins, and 4B-E also do. Because C5 has a penguin, the rest of 5 is safe. So now the only place for the other penguin in B is B1. So 1A, 1D and 1E are safe. Also E2 has a penguin because it's the only place for the second penguin in 2, so the reat of E is safe. Thus we know where all the penguins are: A3, B1, B4, C1, C2, C4, C5, D4, E2 and E4. That's all the penguins. So either A3 is safe, or we learn everything.

Too early in the morning and not enough tea to understand this mini game yet

I think deadsirius or jura are the ones we should go after next. DD naming Jura makes me wonder though so I'm leaning towards deadsirius first. And not me, I'm no penguin.

Ergo I am not a penguin. If I were some kind of bird I'd be one that can fucking fly.

You're just a wee bit too suspicious to definitely not be a penguin. DD maybe wanted to throw the scent off you by naming you along with me.

OK A3

A3! Lets hope there's a penguin in there lol!
The ghost of Pezevenk drifts into the AFET room. His marshmallow-stuffed body still lies there, and- oh god, it's being fed on. A spectral werepenguin turns-
There is a flash of light. He hears Boydster's voice in his ear: "That was close. Can only do that once more before I need to use up my power."

A3 contained a penguin.

Someone should proof read this because I was on the go and still am and so there's a chance I fucked up. If it's correct, let's explore all the rooms except these ones.

I cast my saving spell. Let's now inspect all the rooms in column A and row 3.

Boydster leads the way through the rooms, one after the other. He peers around a scale model of a Zaratan, then progresses through a library, then passes over the body of a ghost penguin he had just slain. Wiping the sweat from his brow, he and the others continue.
He passes under the banner 'AUSTRALIA: FACT OR FICTION?', nervously passing a model of a kangaroo. His time in the afterlife has alerted him to their true purpose, and it is sinister.
Nevertheless he makes it through, and concludes searching one column by walking into the DET room. Unfortunately when he tries to get out, he only ends up on the far side of the ceiling.

After navigating out of that fiendish trap (an elaborate scheme, involving two potatoes, the blood of a werepenguin, a disturbing amount of ectoplasm that he swore was necessary, and the starship Enterprise), Boydster proceeds in another direction. He swims over a recreation of Old Bedford River, nervously walks around the glass tube containing the sheer power of the accelerator. and clambers over a rubber dome meant as a demonstration of denpressure. Curiously, on the far side, is a ball pit.
Then he leads the way into the final room, the Dr Thork room. He glances behind him, then continues in. So long as this place was safe-
There's a sound! Boydster nearly jumps out of his ghostly skin but, no, it's just an animatronic programmed to yell at him. Ne penguins to be found.

Column A and row 3 have been fully explored. No more chances have been lost.

What consensus?  Last I checked it was just you and a couple of ghosts.

...the Turk has got it in for me.  I knew there was something not right about him as soon as we got on the boat.  Rumor has it he can withstand 60 punches to the head, and might even be able to control some kind of killer fog.  So far I am seeing little evidence of this vaunted IQ he likes to boast about.

Currently I am leaning towards the two that Duck "exonerated".  It would make sense to try and provide a smoke screen for his partner on the way to the gallows.  But I am not putting anyone in the clear yet...

To recap, the penguins are in:

A3, C1, C2, C4, C5, B4, D4, E4, B1, E2
