I won't be able to see the horizon for sunrise (can't see it from my house - can't be bothered driving up a hill when still dark), but I can probably manage it for sunset.

As an FE'er isnt it your responsibility to fully answer any question put forth so you can futher educate th rest of the world.  Instead your sending everying to your sub par FAQ with many holes.

Our cause is a lot more feasible than yours. Everything infinitely goes up for some mysterious reason. Unless you don't believe in newton's laws, everything needs something to make it go up. And, come on, we should be able to find out since we have the sun and moon not too far away, and some observation should explain it.

String theory also explains the cause of gravity, which could, if I heard correctly, be tested soon.

beyond the cause, there is proof of universal graviton, in the Cavendish experiment.

sure there are oddities, such as the constantly increasing expansion of the universe with no known cause beyond "dark energy" but explanations are being searched for.

Science does not hold all explanations, merely the path to find them.  But that is about scientific method and theories, which belong separate from the discussion involving the observed motions of the sun and what flat earth theory predicts, what this thread was created to discuss.  Please move to an appropriate place.
