At night when you turn off all the lights
There's no place that you can hide
Oh no, the penguin is gonna get'cha

In bed, throw the covers on your head
You pretend like you are dead
But I know it
The penguin is gonna get'cha

Penguin is gonna get'cha
Penguin is gonna get'cha
Penguin is gonna get you

The penguin is gonna get you tonight
No way, you can fight it every day
But no matter what you say
You know it
The penguin is gonna get'cha

No clue, of what's happening to you
And before this night is through
Ooh baby
The penguin is gonna get'cha

Penguin is gonna get'cha
Penguin is gonna get'cha
Penguin is gonna get you
The penguin is gonna get you tonight

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
I'm sorry. Am I to understand that when you have a boner you like to imagine punching the shit out of Tom Bishop? That's disgusting.

I volunteer to narrate, if people are interested. Probably best to start a poll first, to see what people think about changes.

Dude, you put a winky face in when you said we shouldn't lynch Shifter. Everyone knows not to do that even in person. It looked like a stupid attempt to convince people you were the psychic, so that they wouldn't understand you were a penguin. Who knew you'd actually be stupid enough to do it even though you were ACTUALLY the psychic?? You were lynched because people overestimated your sense.

Called you both right (well not the names but that you were penguins)... ...shifter was too.... fortunately for the penguins there was a ton of bias and no one listens to us anyways  ;)

boydster also expressed interest.  You guys would have to work that out.  There's also the issue if people are ready to jump into another game or if they're a little burn out.  I have no idea.

A few things I've noticed:

1.  The biggest problem to me seems that the innocents have nothing to go on early on.  There's quite a few custom roles available.  I think adding few of these might make the game more interesting.  https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/585004/guide-playing-werewolf-boardgamegeek

2.  Chats.  Nearly every set of rules seems to forbid it.  I don't know why.  The downsides are that later on in the game people might break out into cliques.  Which leads to less information to go on overall and if you're not in a clique then you're just sort of standing there.  Custom roles might help to reign things in.  Another idea is having to declare when you're pming someone and who without actually disclosing it.

3.  This is probably impractical, masking identities.  There's biases and reluctance to piss certain people off.  If people didn't know who everyone is in a game then it might lead to more dramatic gameplay.  Of course this would mean that everytime someone posts they'd have to pm the narrator who would then repost it and that seems like it would be too much of a burden for everyone.

Then it didn't work fine. It was so stupid. You essentially announced you were the scientist. That move was so dumb, that there were two possible outcomes: 1) Everyone assumes you're not stupid enough to do that, so you must be a penguin trying to cast suspicion away from you, or 2) the penguins kill you the very next night. Come on. It didn't help that you acted suspicious as fuck afterwards.

Space Cowgirl, a few questions....

Was it really necessary to through the pubes of Einstein at me?

And why Bullwinkle?

As for the players, next time hopefully you don't murder the scientist. Seriously pez, this game crumbled because of you. Even when people had 2nd thoughts on their vote for BHS, you doubled down and made sure.

Either way, a longer sign up time could work. More time for people to join, and more time until it starts.

That's one of the things a poll would be good for, seeing what roles people would like, though I'd need to read more. A personal favourite is a guardian/doctor; they can PM the narrator, and if they select the wolf/penguin's next victim, they survive. Allows for more discussion as far as planning through the night goes. Then hopefully find other roles that aren't needlessly complicated.

Depends how strategic people want to be, I imagine. There are definitely challenges to needing to do everything in public. Probably best to see what people think in the poll.

Exactly! You and DuckDodgers were the only people that suspected me, everyone thought you were a penguin and no one noticed what DD thought because they were too busy being confused by Shifter's survival. You were an excellent distraction, thanks  :P

Einstein has magical pubes.

Bullwinkle was killed first because we knew BHS would panic and make himself seem like a penguin. He'd already started with his "bias" comments, and only got more retarted after Bullwinkle died. He was the easiest to get lynched, he basically lynched himself. By not killing BHS first, even though we suspected he was telling the truth about being the psychic, we made him look even more guilty.

Our goal was to use the kills to make someone else seem suspicious. That was our strategy, of course we had to kill Shifter when the pool of "unknowns" was getting smaller.

I don't think anyone is burned out as it was a short game. Plus things got a little quiet when shifter and I were killed as there was no place for people to send their misdirected rage towards.

Though I give it to you Jane, never in my mind did I not know it was space cowgirl, as that is why I voted for her. You would have been my next question to crouton as the physic if I had not been killed by my own people.

However, you almost had me doubting myself with your constant word salads...almost moved to either duck or round. So I have to say well done there, and you know how hard it is for me to give you any sort of props  :)

However we decide to change the rules, we should not make the game more complicated.

Like change it to say "daytime lasts 24 hours, and nighttime lasts 24 hours" because I was genuinely a bit messed up about the time in the beginning before I realized a 48 hour day doesn't mean 48 hours of daytime, lol. d'oh.
