Width of Australia
« on: July 09, 2018, 05:57:18 PM »
Does someone have a FE map that shows Australia as 2700 mi wide and USA as 3000 mi wide? All the FE maps I have found show Australia as wider.
Is it possible for something to be both true and unproven?

Are things that are true and proven any different from things that are true but not proven?

jimster, the Q&A section of the forum is for questions about flat earth theory.
I'm sorry. Am I to understand that when you have a boner you like to imagine punching the shit out of Tom Bishop? That's disgusting.

Space Girl, I've gotten banned for posting round earth info in the Q&A Section.
Can I post it on rhe General or Debate section ?
Or why don't you just make a rule that only flat earth info is permitted on this website and be done with all of us pesky round earth invaders for once and for all and permit just flat earth info only ?
I could answer jimster's question with the obvious you know what answer , but I don't want to get banned again.

I moved this thread out of Q&A, dingdong.

You have made over 4,000 posts on this website, how is it that you still don't understand anything?

One problem with Australia and the FET is longitudinal lines. Longitude lines converge at the poles but on a flat earth they wouldn’t converge in the Southern Hemisphere. You really think no one has ever noticed the distance between the lines gains distance the further you go south?

Space Cowgirl -
Just asking to be on the safe side.
I don't know for sure what map jimster is using to base his question as to  why Australia is wider, but I think I may know and could answer his question. I think you know what the answer would be ?

Sorry.....
That's the round earth answer !
It's not the flat earth answer !

jimster-
Are you comparing the width of Australia on the FE map with the width of Australia on the RE globe ?
How about comparing  the distances between the southern tips of South America and Africa on the FE map and the RE globe  ?
Which maps - FE and/or RE - are you using for your question ?

Just kidding. LOL.
I think we both know jimster may be  using the North Polar Azimuthal Equidistant Projection of the Globe as the basis for the FE map on his question why Australia looks wider.

I have to check out for now but may be back later.
