My advice is to ask her to create an account here and direct any questions she may have to Sandokhan.  That should clear up any misunderstandings.

like see it from my shoes, she is a teacher i have a lot of respect for and i dont want her to look bad. shes covered my ass a ton of times and saved me from a world of trouble so i feel like this is one of the least things i can do

Finally realizing the earth is flat is showing you have a deeper understanding of government corruption and not being a sheep and just listening to what's being told. I have full faith that you will convince your math teacher

Yes. It simply means that for any value of x, y=r.

this is the same teacher that saved my ass from failing math last-year because i fucked up on the math quiz near the end of the year so she boosted my mark up so i pass by 5 percent. we talk a lot in class too so i feel like i need to repay her or somewhat feel like i owe her for watching out for me

If you want to explain to your math teacher that the earth is flat, then you could always start by showing her the math involved in explaining how the sun, moon and stars appear to move across the sky.  Don't forget to explain how those bodies appear rise and set.

Teachers are not actually smart and they don't know much of anything. They follow a strict syllabus and aren't allowed to deviate from that. Ironically it is her that is 'stupid and dumb' because she just regurgitates indoctrinated nonsense where you have at least chosen to think 'outside the box'

Just tell your teacher that there is far more to this universe than we could possibly understand, that what we think we understand the laws of physics are either vastly incomplete or outright wrong. It is foolish to believe we have the answers and that e=mc2 is the zenith of possible understanding.

If he were dumb, he would lack the ability to have verbally asked the question to her. Calling him dumb only shows the lack of intelligence on the part of the teacher. Which lends severe doubt and shows a lack of credibility on anything else she has to say. Especially in regards to the shape of the Earth.

I still stand behind my suggestion that the best way to get through to your teacher is through the language of mathematics, which is why y=R is a great way to explain the earth's shape.

However, I fully support getting your teacher to debate our resident Advanced Flat Earth Theorist, Sandokhan. She'll have her work cut out for her - he's done his homework!
