Installing IPX Drivers - help!

I'm trying to play Red Alert 2 over a LAN and it needs IPX protocol installed to work.

I followed the instructions on a googled site, by going to network connections, right clicking LAN, then properties.

But when I try to add the IPX protocol, I get:

"Windows cannot find any drivers for this device"

I'm running Windows XP on a PC with an onboard network card.

Anyone got a solution?

I have no idea.  As a side note, have you tried using Red Alert with Hamachi?
