Nikon P900 has a miniscule 1/2.3" sensor. And how far is the plane? Pretty sure at that distance the body needs to do all kinds of wacky things to resolve a picture. The price of the camera does not exactly shout high class glass either.

EDIT: And the zoom in the far end of things is digital and not optical. I am certain this does not mean anything to "Papa Legba" as it sure did not mean anything to the person behind the awesome video, but some other people might understand.
