1. All else being equal, would you rather tell someone a lie that would help them, or a truth that would hurt them? I'd rather tell them the truth, even if it hurts.
2. How often do you ever experience deja vu? I experience it a lot actually. Maybe a few times a month
3. Do you believe each person has one soulmate they are destined to be with? I believe in 'soul mates' but I also believe most people never end up finding or being with theirs. However it does not devalue the life born from those relationships. For example, if my wife was not my soul mate, my children born through the union still have souls and still have their own 'soul mates' out there. Everyone has a purpose and is here for a reason
4. When you look up at the stars in the night sky and imagine how far away they are, both from you and one another, how does it make you feel? It makes me feel not only small and humble, but in incredible awe. At the same time it makes me feel very important to be a part of something so big. Every cell in my body and everything I see was forged in the heart of stars. I am the universe and the universe is me
5. A stranger approaches you holding a small box and they ask you to, without a question, close your eyes and put your hand in the box to take and keep whatever is inside. Do you do so? Why I would be intrigued at the idea and would be curious as to what's inside, unfortunately we live in a world today where trust needs to be earned. However it depends on the context. Am I in a church or a dark alleyway for example.
6. Do you consider yourself a lucky person? I am very lucky. Just being alive and the chance to see and learn about the wondrous universe and our place in it is a miracle. Cherish the life, and all that exists
7. Is value an intrinsic property of life, or is it earned? Intrinsic. No question
8. Do you engage in any forms of meditation, and if so how often? Yes. Pretty much every night before I sleep I take a few minutes to zone out. There have been times where I have 'felt' I have left my body and the Earth and zoomed throughout the universe. Of course, my physical body was always here.
9. Do you dream of living in other times or places? All the time. I sometimes wonder if the dreams are actually past or alternate lives/realities of mine. If the universe is indeed an infinite 'multiverse', perhaps our subconscious is one thing with the ability to cross over
10. If you had the ability to change one event in history, whether in your personal history or world history, what would you do? I would not change a thing. There is a lot I would like to change but who am I to decide what can and cant exist?
