The other forum ??? Dont understand

The other forum seems to be like this one, whats going on? I registered there but my username has apparently been used there before anyone know whats going on ??

Ok thankyou, I have posted about 9 posts on there and things seemed to go quite, and I noticed my username had been used before??

very strange, I tried asking other members openly, but no respone yet. I have changed my email password - but if they are shady, there could be trouble ahead! Hopefully im just paranoid.

Anyway, I hope this forum turn out to be good, and not wierd!

I'm not sure what makes you think your user name was used before but it's probably because you saw old posts where they were talking about you. Check the coding. They aren't actually using your name, they are using [you] which translates into the readers username. If I read that same post it would say Boots instead of brinnbry022.

this is exactly what happened, Thankyou. I have edited my posts on the other side so as to not make such a fool of myself as i asked them what was going on, hours went by and nobody replied, but I gather a few old times on the forum were laughing at my expense.
