AOL Instant Messenger, AIM, is going to be shutdown as of December 15th this year. I hadn't even thought about AIM since my high school days, I think the last time I used it was in 2005. Still, it was revolutionary for its time. I'll always remember trying to pick the right background/font colors to show how "cool" I was and trying to balance it with being legible.
