Research, what is valid

In any belief system, what would be accepted as valid research material, or more correctly invalid.

In the case of The Flat Earth and in particular this one at www.theflatearthsociety.org/ and "the other" at http://www.tfes.org/ that is easy to answer.

Just look up "Place of the Conspiracy in FET" in "the Wiki" and find that any personally unverifiable evidence that contradicts the FET must be fabricated!
Look at this:
Quote
Place of the Conspiracy in FET
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
The existence of such a huge quantity of false information indicates the existence of the conspiracy.

Essentially the reasoning boils down to -

P1) If personally unverifiable evidence contradicts an obvious truth then the evidence is fabricated
P2) The FET (Flat Earth Theory) is an obvious truth
P3) There is personally unverifiable evidence that contradicts the FET

C1) The unverifiable evidence that contradicts the FET is fabricated evidence
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
From THE FLAT EARTH Wiki, Place of the Conspiracy in FET.

It clearly states "The FET (Flat Earth Theory) is an obvious truth" and "If personally unverifiable evidence contradicts an obvious truth then the evidence is fabricated".

So, you might as well give up! Even if you claim that you have personally verifiable evidence, that evidence is not personally verifiable by any flat earth believer.
And they simply do not want it verified, because that would destroy The flat earth myth.

What is valid? Well...here..for FEers...nothing. You can`t show them facts etc. ... in their eyes, they will never be valid. Even if you would take them to the "edge", and you obviously never get there they will probably say: "well, you changed course while I was sleeping".

So asking what is valid research material...on this forum...is like asking which heavily sugared drink is healthy for someone with diabetes...

Valid would be whatever supports the narrative.

For instance, Black Energy. Sometimes called 'Alignment Sauce' or 'Math Grease'.
Figure out how much your understanding lacks and apply that amount.

PRESTO-CONJECT-O.

Claiming victory in the pantheon of thought process is just silly.

100 years ago (+/-) there was debate about shutting down the patent office because everything had already been invented.

Oh, how wise, no wonder you claim that you are "the best".

Mind you some material is most useful as "the best" fertiliser in a garden,
though the jury might be out whether the equine or bovine varieties are "the best".
We do seem to get plenty of each here.
