I still do not understand why you people insist that a moon can not pass in front of a sun on a flat Earth.

There are so many basic things you don't understand , so you make up alternatives explanations that make no sense that you choose to believe.

Like gravity, dark energy, and the big bang?

The Moon
The moon is a sphere. It has a diameter of 32 miles and is located approximately 3000 miles above the surface of the earth.
The sun
The sun is a sphere. It has a diameter of 32 miles and is located approximately 3000 miles above the surface of the earth.

It must be a close call, seeing that we do not have a collision, as the moon pass in front of the Sun, what’s the distance between the two, and I would think a different shadow would be cast with the moon pass so close to the sun, why does it not completely blocked out the sun seeing that the sun acts as a spotlight. The shadow cast under such circumstances just doesn’t work right for me.  Will you please explain how we got the shadows that we did.
Another question, what powers the Motion of Sun and Moon?
The the universe has no obligation to makes sense to you.
The earth is a globe.

I pass within feet of cars while driving to work every day.  What was the point that you were trying to make, but failed miserably?

Maybe I can help. By waving his hands in front of a light, jroa can make a dog and a butterfly,
so maybe the moon just waves at the sun in passing,  as you do, and makes these shadows.
You probably won't get any more sense out of jroa, so take it or leave it.

Magic dust, aether or dark energy, take your pick.
