Gravity vs electromagnetism
« on: July 17, 2017, 02:27:56 PM »
We all know how tides work on globe earth "gravity". On flat earth theory it is because of the diamagnetic properties of water and flat earthers says that the sun and the moon are electromagnetic. But as on fet sun and moon are very close and if they are electromagnetic as fe claims that sun is positive and moon is negative. To move that much of water it should have a very strong energy, my question is why cant you see this effect on compass that uses the magnetic north, if the sun and moon is that powerful those type of compasses will be affected as the sun passes by, and what is the explanation of diff tides? Spring? Neap?, and how can we predict tides by calculating the moons distance and its gravity? Not by measuring electromagnetism. And add on to it if  sun is electomagnetic birds will go crazy flying around.

No flat earthers know anything about
  • tides,
  • lunar phases,
  • lunar eclipses,
  • gross distance errors in the southern hemisphere,
  • six-months daylight at the South Pole,
  • 24-hour daylight everywhere south of the Antarctic Circle.
So they either refuse to answer or deny such events occur. Just like any other religious sect.

i see, so maybe  they will never post on this topic, and still they will defend fet.

Who claims the sun and moon are magnetic?  This is the first time I have heard of this.

I gotta, begrudgingly, side with jroa here and ask which of the special snowflake FEers claims this.  I do not know this one, though I am not doubting there is some, maybe I am just not quite awake yet this morning.

Really jroa? 1st time? Then how does that debate contains the diamagnetic properties of water as for the fe tides and how come you are posting there not knowing that?
