He's allright contrary to mister '' cut and paiste'' Rabinoz who promotes the ancient Greeks and their ongoing undisputed insight about the globe,earth's tilt and accurate measurements.
Greeks who believed they saw the ship's mast drop over the horizon and considered it as solid proof for their globe model......go figure..
Many globers claim our eyes cannot detect ships going over the horizon when presented with ships brought back through a Nikkon zoom lens.
''the ship is to small to detect, the zoom only reveals that aspect of our limited vision, not an absent curvature''.
So what was it again with the Greek's eyesight ?
And they did not take into account , lensing, looming, refraction and superior mirages as we ''understand'' today
......so their conclusions about ships dissapearing over the horizon was based on wishfull observations based upon their extremely limited eyesight only.
Can we dismiss the scientific achievements of the Greeks concerning the globe now ?
No, because Rabinoz keeps copy/paisting his endless list of invalid Greek globural achievements.....now that is really, really tiresome....
