Someone please, go on to google maps and zoom out. Looks pretty round to me.

You do know that when you zoom all the way out, it is no longer a picture, right?  That is why there are no clouds.  ::)

Put another checkmark on the wall! JRoa is quite correct and horror of horrors Google Earth is CGI!
