Question concerning the Accepted Model
« on: April 21, 2017, 05:42:46 AM »
They say:

That we live on a spinning oblate spheroid, which orbits around our local star.
Our local star orbits around the center of gravity of the local spiral arm of the galaxy;
While orbiting around the center of the galaxy.
Said galaxy is moving through universe.

So if the above is true.
Then we would have to be moving into new points in the "space-time".

So how can we have annual meteor showers?

Briefly, the comet trails which cause meteor showers are local to our solar system and move with it. We encounter them annually as we make our trip round the sun.

During all these movements you can drink a glass of water without spilling  . Physics laws failed. Nevertheless, do not try drink a glass of water in a cornering vehicle.

Let it be known that I comment here not because I care about Intikam but about those who may be unaware of why the shit he says is wrong.

It's all about acceleration, not speed. Your drink will spill in a cornering car because you accelerate strongly; on an airplane that's cruising ahead, there are no issues at all, while it's going 10x the speed of a car.

Story time!

I was on an airplane reading a magazine. Suddenly I had an urge to purge. So I went to do my duty, and emptied my booty. When I got back, the magazine was still there sitting on the seat where I left it. But the airplane was traveling at 500 mph! How can this be?!1one?

Because in RET (or any model, really) none of that movement would impact having annual meteor showers.
