As I mentioned before, everyone is entitled to their own beliefs but not their own facts. The jet is a fact.
Are you telling me that the jet stream carries his balloon along even though he's supposedly in a near vacuum.
And in a extreme low pressure inside a chamber, a fan will not blow paper away or very light objects?
The reason Baumgartner came down not far from where he took off didn't have anything to do with jet streams or atmosphere/lack of it.
He was moving with rotating earth when he took off. He kept this movement throughout his ascent and descent. There wasn't any force acting on him which would stop this movement.
The same applies to all of the balloons, rockets etc which are sent up vertically to high altitude.
