Remind you of anyone?

Raises hand.

Hey, sup.

I don't really approve of what you are trying to do here, or diagnosing someone over a FE forum.

Edit, I respect your right to state your opinions however.

If you wanna know more about the illness just ask, I have more than a decade of experience dealing with it.

Edit, the downs are just as bad as the highs sometimes. Although less damaging in some ways and more damaging in other ways.

Quote
In clinical samples, about 50% of persons with bipolar disorder (BD) were found to have a history of a suicide attempt. In the largest epidemiological study on the topic to date, the suicide attempt rate in persons with BD was twice that of individuals with unipolar depression.

The psychosis and delusional thoughts (mania) only come with bipolar 1 which is more acute and serious than bipolar 2. 2's suffer from "hypomania" which is mainly just elevated mood, emotions and energy.

They discovered that for patients with Bipolar I disorder, the median duration for any type of mood episode — either mania or depression — was 13 weeks. They also found that “more than 75% of the subjects recovered from their mood episodes within 1 year of onset.

I doubt it.

He would have to have had multiple depressive episodes (which I doubt he has) and at least one (hypo)manic episode which was debilitating enough to cause harm to his lifestyle, A suicide attempt or two always helps too.

I think it is unwise to think that you can judge the entirety of someones character and mental health based on posts made on an online forum.

But lets reinforce the stigma anyway.

Check it out, after everything they threw at him they thought why not throw the mentally ill card at him. I mean fuck criticising his policy with facts and logic, lets just call him crazy then no one will listen to him or respect him. Fantastic idea. Just when MI people start to think that maybe they are worth the same as other humans a bunch of "psychologists" throw the mentally ill card at the POTUS because they hate him and want to do him harm. In my opinion that is a disgusting practice and a disgusting example to set.

At least I will always have muh white male privilege.

I know I came across as rude here but this is an issue very close to me.

Why can't we just say Intikam is an asshole?

No doubt, I probably took the OP more personally than I should have, but in context my reaction seemed fair.

Sorry Rocks, no hard feelings I know you didn't mean to trigger me, I should work on having thicker skin in these issues but I have had a lot to deal with involving MH recently.
