A minister told that Turkey claims possession on the Antarctic due to Piri Reis’ world map

Minister of Science, Industry, and Technology Faruk Özlü said that Turkey claims possession on the Antarctic. He based his claim on Piri Reis’ map which includes the Americas and the Antarctic. Piri Reis was an Ottoman admiral, geographer, and cartographer. His world atlas was one of the oldest world maps showing the new world.

Stating that the Antarctic is seen completely on the map, “We are preparing a new map, and we want to display it in the museum where documents of the countries claiming possession on the Antarctic are displayed. We claim rights because Piri Reis was the first person to show the Antarctic on the map," Özlü said.

"WE WILL SET UP A SCIENCE BASE"

"We have completed a pre-study. According to this pre-study, the season in the Antarctic is the exact opposite of Turkey. We will send a committee when it will be summer there. We will send scholars from Istanbul Technical University and other universities. Turkey will have a science base in the Antarctic," Özlü added.

He is not a fool. He just wants to take we have what as a right. He has that right. All human in the earth has a right to have a land in Antarctica. Because it is big enough to everybody.  How America was plundered, and the plunderers had been the richest people in the world, now some nations are doing it for Antarctica. We discovered it, and we will do that too. If necessary, we will fight for making "scientific researches" . Minister is a scientific minister so talks with language of science but I'm not just a scientist, more than it. So I can talk with another languages, as fight.

The team will be set up before in the 2017, November and first travel will start in November 2017. It is planned as November-February 3 months periods in every year.

You can not force easily a Turk give up .  We can also walk ourselves to work in the meantime. We can work simultanoulsly with that team but on the quiet.

Doesn't said treaty also involve that Antarctica will not be exploited for commercial gains?

He is a drunk by power. We are also thinking about same things about the coup. Because He was the one who brought the coupers to work. Although that truth, It is accepted as "homeland betrayal" even with these ideas. In fact everything that betrays Erdogan is considered treason. In one respect, the erdogan is regarded as the homeland itself. These kinds of people forget that human life is more important than their power. And after a point the public reaction can not be prevented. Because almost everyone has been hurt by this power. This is a threshold. Once this threshold is exceeded, returning is difficult. because No one wants to die for making somebody else be stronger.
