To all religious flat earthers
« on: December 02, 2016, 03:23:31 AM »
Okay, this goes out to all flat earthers who believe in a flat earth because of their religion/scripture.

You argue that RE'ers were indoctrinated and simply believe what they are told, without having any prove. They simply believe the outcome of experiments just because they are told that they worked that way without ever performing a single experiment themselfes or performing their own observations.

Now someone (most likely your parents) come over and tell you that there is a big man in the sky (not to be taken literally) who is almighty, created the world and us and their evidence is a 1700 year old book.

I am curious to what proofs you have of god or what makes you think that he exists. And if you have performed own obervations or if you believe it because you were told to.

That was meant as a question :)

That is a statement.
Questions would be:

Do you have proof that a god exists?
What makes you think that gods exist?

And if you have performed own obervations or if you believe it because you were told to.

That is an incoherent word pile.

Religious FE would be operating on faith, imo. They can't prove the existence of a god anymore than  religious RE.
I'm sorry. Am I to understand that when you have a boner you like to imagine punching the shit out of Tom Bishop? That's disgusting.

Almost all flat earthers here are either atheistic or moderately agnostic....so I don't see your point. Definitely no religious nuts...

Except for İntikam, but he doesn't even know what god he serves, so I consider that a wash.

Also asking for proof of God? Would it even matter what I said or anyone? I could say there is an angel sitting right next to me this very moment, removing all need for faith....you would still likely not believe me.

Yehoshua said this and demonstrated this in a much more unique and powerful manner.

Pointless necro is pointless

Edit, 7 days, resurrection, my bad 😂😂
Why would that be inciting terrorism?  Lorddave was merely describing a type of shop we have here in the US, a bomb-gun shop.  A shop that sells bomb-guns.

I don't believe on God. I know God is there. Tested, than approved. I'm acting scientific like that.

We all know God exists. To say otherwise just means you have fooled yourself into believeing a lie. Usually as a way to do evil deeds and pretend they are ok. Where did cultures long ago, before the scriptures, get the idea of an all powerful being. They just knew, they didnt have to see the being, or speak to it. Its engrained in our thoughts because our creator gave us thought.

Now let's do some magic:

We all know the earth is round. To say otherwise just means you have fooled yourself into believing a lie. Usually as a way to do evil deeds and pretend they are ok. Where did cultures long ago, before the scriptures, get the idea of a round earth. They just knew, they didnt have to see the roundness of the earth, or speak of it. Its engrained in our thoughts because our brain gave us thought.

Hey, it seems like the same argument works for a round earth.

Meh, kinda ambiguous.

Hee, it seems like how you edited it, it also works.  Guess it isn't really a solid argument.
