Marijuana kills.

Lmao, I hope they stop treating users like criminals, there is a big shift towards common sense in this issue I think.

Fun thread.

No, we are not approaching an end to marijuana (nor thousands of other things) prohibition.  It is analogous to asking when the tryanny will end, and freedom will come back - the answer is historically never.

Learning about the history is crucial.  Americans (real ones, not the ones in name only that we produce today) would never, and did never, accept an unconstitutional restriction on their god given ability to grow any plant they can/wish. It's a LARGE part of what freedom is.

So the "ends justify the means" morons stepped in and circumvented the constitution and made it illegal anyway.  What do machine guns and weed have to do with one another? The answer may surprise you if you bother to research it!

Lol, then you missed all the good stuff!  You can't respond very well if you don't read the prompt :(

Prohibition is a top-down movement by the owners [slavers], it doesn't originate from "mad mothers" or "outcry from the community".

Prohibition (of many things, not just marijuana) will persist for the same reasons it did then.

The prohibition on machine guns and marijuana are the same prohibition, going all the way back to their inception.

That's an overly simplistic view of the world you have. But not surprising.

Marijuana prohibition is coming to an end, even if you can't see it. It wasn't an attack on 'freedom' it was an attack on the left wing by the right wing, and sadly it worked very well. It's taken a long time to even start to undo it, but we are making good progress on reversing the damage. Only a matter of time now.

Or eating too much of anything.

Many of which are worse than smoking weed.

Agreed.  Vaping and edibles are much healthier options as burning weed reduces or destroys its medicinal properties.

Sorry, I was distracted by the spambot that bumped the thread. I banned it, then came back and made the reply only remembering the first part of your sentence.

Prohibition against alcohol ended, and it looks as though the prohibition against marijuana is well on its way to ending. I have no idea what you mean by most of what you've posted, like wtf does prohibition on machine guns and marijuana are the same prohibition mean? Marijuana and machine guns aren't the same, and they are governed by different laws. You can end the prohibition on one of them without ending it on another.

Sorry it's sometimes hard to handle so much crap in one post.

So is eating sugar. --> It's not particulary unhealthy, unless your diabetic

Or watching TV all day. --> No issue as long as you still have a job, some friends and do some sport

Or drinking. --> not an issue if in moderation. Actually it decreases your cardiovascular risk.

Or eating too much meat. --> not an issue at all. Well, except for the environment.

Or eating too much of anything. --> wrong. eat as much as you like as long as you burn an equal amount of calories.

Many of which are worse than smoking weed. --> wrong. not even close. Smoking weed destroys your lung, makes you dependant psychologically and also will fuck your brain up over time. Sometimes even the first time you smoke; psychosis and shit. Not comparable to all the examples you brought up. Get your facts right, boy.

Boy?  What are you some kind of southern plantation owner role-player?  Forget what forum you were on?  ::)

There is so much wrong there I'm not even sure where to start.  You really drank the refer madness kool-aid, didn't you?

It's already been pointed out you have decided to not understand what "too much" means.  So every point you made is wrong.

You should read up on sugar to see just how bad it is for you.

Lets try an easy one.  Smoking nicotine.  Cigarettes are insanely more dangerous,, addictive and bad for you than marijuana.  You up for banning smoking?  Good luck.

Smoking kills people. Drinking kills people. Sugar and overeating kills people. Not getting enough exercise kills people. Marijuana ahh... not so much.

--> That's such a crap argument. 1) Death rate is not all that matter.
