What are the wind conditions? What is the temperature? What caliber round -  .338 Lapua or  .50BMG?

Irrelevant details.  The implication was that bullets hit their targets when the Coriolis effect is assumed.  The counter claim was that bullets can and do miss their targets, whether the Coriolis effect is assumed or not.  I am sorry that logic and reasoning are so confusing to you.

No, height is a length.
How can you have length without distance?

In 3 dimensions.
Are you saying distance can't exist in three dimensions?

No, the opposite.
So, if distance can exist, how do you have a length without it?

No, you are assuming the wrong opposite.
You're the one saying distance doesn't exist for some unexplained reason.

The dude was obviously trolling. I apologize you couldn't see my sarcasm jroa. Perhaps you could answer his questions, he has copy and pasted this nonsense elsewhere, so he must be in dire need of an answer.

You are still assuming the wrong opposite.

He is an inch away from a short ban.  Oh, and in case you hadn't noticed, I have not been taking anything in this thread as seriously as you seem to think I have.

You switched opposites.

That would be the opposite of the opposite, and not only do opposites attract, but double negatives often mean the opposite of what the person is meaning, so, even if you think I meant the opposite, it is likely that you are simply incorrect.

But the opposite of the opposite means that the first opposite is no longer your claim, so you're now supporting the opposite of your original opposite, which is the opposite of what you should be saying.

Calling 'jroa style' a debating style is like calling decapitation a paper cut.

Unless you happen to by speaking in Russian[1], then a double negative just reinforces the single negative so, I guess a a double double negative is four times as strong as a single negative.

[1] For all the sense you make most of the time, you might as well be speaking in Russian.

I may not always agree with his methods, but damnit he gets results.
Why would that be inciting terrorism?  Lorddave was merely describing a type of shop we have here in the US, a bomb-gun shop.  A shop that sells bomb-guns.

I don't not like rab, but he's aint not the unsharpest tool in the shed, if you know what I mean.   ;)

Note: winky eye is so that rab might pick up on my poor excuse for humor, since he seems to not be capable of discerning humor from seriousness on his own.  One more to be on the safe side.   ;)

Are you claiming cheese doesn't exist?

There, easy isn't it.  A bot could do it better, as at least the bot wouldn't spend most of the time drunk.

Most of jroa's derails are just to cover up some howler he's made - like claiming height isn't a distance.

Maybe Jroa tried to refer to factoring in perspective, but i did just that in my example by giving the angular distance between polaris and the ground observed from the equator  on FE.
