Sun rises in Lima do earlier than NY proves the earth can't be round

This is a superstition:

There is a 1 hour difference about time zones between NY and Panama. So according to NY time, sun rising in NY at 7:18 but rises in Lima at 6:38.

As we see that sun rises earlier in Lima than New York by real time, but it seems in the west on about all of round maps.

This don't disprove the earth is a round but proves round earth map is a garbage.

What an idiotic post! As everyone else is trying to tell you Lima is heading into Summer, New York into Winter.
But carry  on, you are single handedly making the whole idea of a Flat Earth look completely ridiculous.

As already mentioned by other posters the length of day and sunrise times are affected by the time of year.  That and as Lima is closer to the equator there is less variation in their sunrise time throughout the year than New York.  Compare sunrise times on the equinoxes for a more accurate comparison.

During summer, days start earlier, and end later. And in winter, days start later and end earlier. Right now, new York is in winter and Lima is in summer, which means that day should start earlier in Lima than new York.

İntikam, if you see this, just beg, borrow, or buy a 30-cm (or so) desk globe and a flashlight. Illuminate the globe with the flashlight in a darkened room from a distance[nb]A few meters should be sufficient.[/nb] and see how the terminator[nb]The line between the lighted and unlighted parts is called the terminator.[/nb] changes when the light is above and below the plane of the globe's equator. You might learn something.
 

I went ahead and compared sunrise times for New York and Lima for the WHOLE year, not just for one or two months.  As it turns out, and in perfect agreement with the round earth model, for most of the year the sun DOES rise earlier in New York than in Lima (once New York times are corrected to remove DST).  It is only during the Peruvian summer / New York winter, when the southern hemisphere of the earth is tilted toward the sun, that the sun rises earlier in Lima.

Here is a graph of sunrise times by date, with New York times corrected to non-DST times.  New York is further from the equator, at 40° north, so their curve is more pronounced than the curve for Lima which is only 12° from the equator.

I've seen several fake 24hr sunlight in Antarctica timelapse videos but this one is really fake.

You should watch some real ones then. Why do you choose to only watch fake stuff?

Frankly, I don't know how people can even live with themselves, when they effectively call all those with contrary evidence liars!

Satellite Photos prove that the Earth is a Globe - and the reply is that NASA and all space agencies are liars.
Anyone who has been to Antarctica knows that there is 24 hour daylight in mid summer - and yet any videos of that gets called lies (or fakes, same thing)!
Ship and airline navigators (especially before GPS) must know the shape of the earth - and the reply seems to be that all are liars.
Airline route planners and pilots must know the shape of the earth to plan for fuel loads on planes - - and the reply seems to be that effectively all are liars.
People living in the Southern Hemisphere generally know that stars rotate clockwise about the South Celestial Pole - I at least have literally been called a liar for claiming that FACT.

It seems ludicrous that there are some that can look at a poor internet copy of a photo of video and instantly it is a fake. In some of these the reason the photo is claimed to be a fake is no more that jpeg artifacts that disappear when a high resolution uncompressed version in examined - some are just too smart for their boots.

Now the Flat Earth proponents might not always use the term "liars", but that is effectively what they are saying.

What a pitiful group to claim that anyone with contrary evidence is lying! I suppose some feel so superior knowing that they have THE TRUTH and most others don't.

I look to everything as believe it first. And giving it a value +1 as trust. When i see a mistake i change the value of it.

I watch every kind of knowledge. This opens my mind.

As everyone else said New York is heading toward winter and Lima is heading toward summer. Not only that but as someone else have ppointed out the earth is round and at a 24 degree angle and that puts Lima ahead of New York. Boy do I make original posts that no one else have thought of.
